The half-day fishing trip my wife gifted me for my birthday, spent with my grandson, is something I'll always treasure. We nabbed quite a bunch of fish and soaked up a ton of wisdom from Captain Garcia. That guy really knows his stuff—he's got the local area down pat. He dished out some awesome tips to up our fishing game, made sure we were comfy, and even had snacks and water on deck. After expertly cleaning our catch, he double-bagged and iced it for us. Captain Garcia went all out to help us hit our fishing limit and then some. We're totally giving him a thumbs-up and definitely booking with him again down the line. And guess what? My grandson's now talking about becoming a guide, just like good ol' Captain Garcia!

Had a solid day out on the water with Captain Chico! The conditions were seriously challenging, considering we were fishing right after the coldest spell in two decades. But he went all out to get us hooked onto some fish. His explanations about our fishing approach were spot-on, and I came away with a bunch of new knowledge, which was what I was aiming for. I absolutely suggest giving him a shot if you're thinking about heading out—just cross your fingers for some good weather! Haha! No doubt, I'll be arranging another trip with him down the road, just waiting for the right season to roll around.

We had a total blast with Captain Francisco! Even though we booked last minute, he got us onto the fish in no time. And I've gotta say, cruising through the mangroves with him at the helm was a real thrill. It's clear he genuinely looks out for his clients—definitely left an impression. Can't speak highly enough about Captain Francisco Garcia from Rock Island charters! Counting down the days till we're out on the water with him again!

I absolutely recommend this charter. The Captain was incredibly nice and friendly. He took us to quite a few spots, and we managed to catch a good number of fish. His knowledge of fishing and the waterways was really impressive. He was just as excited as we were about catching the fish. He's more than willing to assist you in every possible way to make sure you have a great day. I'm definitely planning on going out again in the future.

Spent an awesome day fishing alongside Francisco. Managed to reel in 3 keeper-sized fish, with 2 measuring over 28 inches, plus around 10 others. On our return, I requested a detour for a different type of fish, and he skillfully guided us to trout! It was an outstanding trip that I wholeheartedly suggest. Check out the video above – that's my son landing the big 29-inch fish, and yes, he did win a dollar from my dad and me.
